A razor blade makes short work of it (it'll make short wor of some lighter wire hooks too).

Not talking about sticking old hooks in with the papers, cans, and bottles.
Does anyone have any methods for getting hooks back from flies that didnt
turn out like planned, or old flies that have caught so many fish that they
are unrecognizable? I've used the "cut everything away with a pair of
scissors that takes a good 30 minutes per fly" method, and was wondering if
anyone had any other methods. Thanks guys.
