About a week ago, I discussed the crappy finishes I was getting with Greg at
Greg's Custom Rods, and he told me to try his favorite epoxy, U-40 LS
Supreme, and to try the syringe kit, so I did.

Last night, I used the syringes as listed in the package, mixing them in a
mixing cup, then transferring to a flat dish covered with wax paper for the
application.

The rod dried rock hard overnight. I should also add that the drying time is 4
hours at 70F, not the 8-12 hours of the stuff I was using.

And interesting note is that I found the mixing cup still sticky this morning,
The mixing toothpick was rock hard. It may be that the transfer from the cup
to the plate was crucial in removing unmixed resin from the finish coat.
