Hi Eddie I'll chime in before DonO does here and agree with him ahead of time. I bought a Metz neck some time back in brown, I still have it and I have bought a whiting half saddle that I use instead. I would say go with a Whiting silver half saddle. They run about $25.00 and well worth it. IMHO whiting is the way to go even if it means buying a smaller amount. I cut costs where ever I can but when it comes to dry fly hackle quality is the key factor.
