Drayton is a close personal friend and was on my Board all the years I was Scout Exec in Waco. Jody and I go to a couple of Astro games each year and always sit with Drayton. For our dinner nonoree each year, Drayton would ask me who I wanted to honor. I'd tell him and we always got that person, even if Drayton had to go get them in his Lear Jet. Drayton also served as my EMCEE all the years except the year we honored him. I was the EMCEE that year.
I do a lot of kidding on the list, but the above is fact. DonO will doubt it, though.. Thomas Auferio would tell you I have the literature to prove it, and I do. I also have pics of Jody and me with the people above.
