Del, If I was in the market for a canoe, (I'm not, since I have a 17' Grumann), I'd go to the nearest Sam's club and purchase one of theirs. The Sams model is identical to the Old Towne Discovery, i.e. color, material, etc. It also has a " center console" for icing down your beverages, and cup holders. I ordered 100 Old Towne Discoveries for our Scouts to use when I was Director of Aquatics for the 1997 National Boy Scout Jamboree at Ft A.P. Hill VA. The Scouts gave them a helluva beating, but at the end of the Jambo, all 100 still looked like new and that was after two weeks of constant beating, banging and scraping around the lake. I daresay Old Towne makes the Sams Canoe. The cost for a 15 footer is $399 at Sams, about 1/2 what you'd expect to pay for an OT Discovery.
