Personally I like to use the rod and a small fly, but once landed I spike the fish into the ground and do an endzone dance. Sometimes we eat them after this ritual and sometimes we set them free and take bets on how far down stream the fish will get before it goes belly up.

Do you accept bets and give odds? I'd like a piece of that action. Do you spike the fish head down or on its side? If its head down I'll put my money on a quick float. If they die quick, you should eat em fast to keep the guts from going bad.
