Hi folks, I am putting together the "Ultimate" little flybox for one of my friends who is just getting into the sport. I would like to start a string on your favorite go-to trout fly. This would be the first one that you would try when working unknown water or just plainly your favorite fly to fish. Suggestions of a dry dropper combo would be great also.
He will be fishing mainly western rivers/lakes (Utah/Idaho). I put my favorite as Scott Sanchez Convertible(sz 10) with a pheasant tail nymph (sz 18) dropper. Thanks, Jeremy
