[VFB] Deerhair Spinning vs. Looping

Hello VFBers,

Trying to improve my deerhair spinning and ran across a reference to creating deerhair bodies and heads by putting the hair into a dubbing loop.

Has anyone tried this technique? What are your impressions about using deerhair in a dubbing loop versus the standard spinning techniques?
