In the Cascade Range near Bend following some welcome snowstorms, we 
have the best snowpack of the winter (around 9 feet at the ski 
mountain).

Still, winter moisture is only 57% of historic average.  Prospects will 
be looking up if we get more snows in late March and during April.

Temps in town are around the mid-50s (13C).  The Portland area and n. 
California have been soaked with rainstorms lately.  It may be a while 
before I go winter steelheading...the river is blown out.
