You talking 'bout the Savage, or the North/South Branch?  Always wanted to head out that direction, but have never fished there before, and didn't want to make the trip by myself the first time and not know where to go.

Not until May.  Water should be too high right now.  I was thinking streams closer in.

Which ones?  Big Hunting, or are there others out in the Catoctins?  Hmmm, May huh?  Maybe we can arrange a gaggle trip out there then.  Anybody in the MD, VA, PA or other close states interested in a weekend of fishin', fartin' and story tellin'?

I'll take a peak at the path on the upper end first, then park at the lower end if it looks to hazardous.  The second parking lot just above the narrow rocky section has a pretty steep incline too, doesn't it?

I think so but  not anywhere near as long an incline.  I've not been to the lower section in years since the family hikers claimed the lower lot.  That's fine by me since most are nice folks and don't go past the riffle bend mostly.

Yeah, most every time I've tried to park there in the past, it was always pretty full, but maybe if we get there early enough, we'll find a spot.
