I also like the the Catoctins, and I have been to the Savage and they are beautiful areas. The problem for me is that the closest is the Catoctins and they are a little over two hours. I guess that's why I like the Gunpowder. Only one hour away. I think a gaggle of fly fisher people would be a lot of fun and would like to throw my name in for consideration. Don't know about that tent idea since I swore up and down that I would never sleep in one again when I got of the Army. BTW I already have a PA license and am planning some trips up there this year. I say that every year and never seem to make it.
