There
is a west coast salt water fish ( don't know if you can catch it on flies?)
called a cabezon that has GREEN!! flesh when raw , but cooked it
turns white.
The
first few I caught I threw back because the thought that anything that ugly
couldn't possibly be edible! Then a fellow jetty fisher told me that
they were PRIMO for the pan, so I took one home and and cleaned
it. I still wouldn't eat it because the flesh was greeeeen!
EEEEWWWW!
Well,
I finally got up the gumption to try it , mainly because I kept hearing
people rave about them.
I must
admit , they ARE pretty tasty!
