I usually cut the last wrap at an angle to lay flat on the hook shank and then make a tapered head. If using a bead, I cut a 90 degree with the hook shank and use a bodkin and push the excess under the bead. Be careful to not make the bead too lop-sided. Olive or black bunny leach with an orange or red bead is one of my favorite patterns.
