HI Tom
Thanks. I know it was that way when I fished it also. The largest I caught then was 24". I did catch one of the endangered species of the suckers that are there. It was about 23". I thought I had a large cut. The first trip I fished the lake. I went three days without a hit. I thought I was doing something wrong until I heard another fisherman on the bank made a quote that he had been three days without a hit.
Thanks again.

Greetings Dean!
Probably like everything else these days-- not as good as it used to be... :-( Most of the ones I caught ranged from 17 to 22 inches, probably averaging between 18 to 20 inches. I think the biggest one I caught was a bit over 22. I saw a buddy get one that was a little over 5 pounds, and another guy get one that was about 6.75 pounds. Occasionally somebody will get one in the 8-12 pound class, but these are not as common today as they were years ago. Still plenty of fish, but not as big. I used to tie flies for one of my Biology Profs in College who used to go out there every year over spring break. He used to get one or two in the 10-12 pound range. This was back in 1972-1976...
