HI Wes
The cloest town to Kipp is Browning. It's a 5 hour drive from here. The wind was about 35 on Tuesday and like 6 or 7 on Wednesday. Here is Bozeman we had about 7 inches of snow this morning. Springtime in the Rockies. We stayed in Cut Bank which is about 23 miles to the East of Kipp.
Clark Canyon is very low. I haven't heard any reports if that area is getting any snow pack.

Murphy's Law #34, Dean. Big fish are never caught when batteries in
the camera are good. *g*
I have heard of Kipp, but other than that have no idea where it or the
Blackfoot Reservation is located in Montana. What are the nearest
towns? Sounds like great fishing. How is Clark Canyon Reservoir doing
these days? We spent some memorable days there when we lived in s.
central Idaho (a shorter drive than the long-haul trip it would be
now.) That little circle of stillwaters: Clark Canyon, Henry's Lake
and Island Park Reservoir make for quite a fishing trip. Add in the
nearby Beaverhead, Henry's Fork and other storied rivers and you can
get really spoiled.
