Neal Taylor has a funny story of meeting Ray Bergman on the lower 'O' when he was about 17 yrs old. Ray showed him how to nymph without an indicator. As Neal would drift the nymph, Ray would count 1-2-3-4-5-... Neal couldn't figure out what Ray was doing, so Ray had to explain that he was just counting the hits Neal was getting without setting the hook.
