Scott is a friendly young guy and was very helpful. He can look into his catalog and give you an idea of what is available in terms of materials, thicknesses, colors, etc. He will have to get back to you on pricing for small quantities as anything less than a full roll is a special order. He does have some stuff in stock.
My favorite crosslinked was 4# X.P.E. (would float better than EVA, though not as 'machinable')
My favorite EVA was Y-60
(your mileage may vary, etc.)
I would request the sample card from their wholesale supplier before ordering anything so you get exactly what you need.

ask for their industrial foams sample card. I would email as the form on their web site didn't work for me. The supplier does NOT sell direct, so don't bother them about that.
I am pricing a square yard of each of the above foams in 1" thick white. If anyone else wants to add to and pool or split an order contact me offlist and we can talk about it. I don't have any pricing as yet. A square yard might even be out of my reach. The EVA stuff is expensive.
