I wear cheap polarized clip-ons.  I break, lose, scratch the lens so often and badly that this just makes sense.  I do not know if this is true but I asked my optomitrist if there was any difference between the cheap and the expensive for the polarized part.  He said no.  I have not tried the better brands.  If he is wrong, I would like to know it and see about getting a better view.  Until then, these cheap clip-ons which my daughter says make me look like a geek are the way to go.

Subject: [VFB] sunglasses

Sorry folks but Jimmy got me thinking what with his articles on vehicles and how do we support ourselves.
I would like to find the ultimate sunglasses for reducing glare on the water.
I use Snowbee glasses which are quite good and cheap( about 15 ) per pair, they come in amber, grey and black mirrored lenses so I can normally find a pair to suit the different weather conditions.
And it does'nt matter too much if I loose or break them which i am quite prone to doing.
