Mike, you are absolutely right..and one could find out what was the best fly for each area..and know that it was one that had been successful within hours, not days, of the time you were speaking, when you went to Anglers Inn. The other thing, if you were having problems with your cast, you only had to mention it and one of their "experts" would take you out on the lawn and work with you until you understood how to correct it..and all with no charge.
    I have found, that the new fellow, Eddie Robinson, does know what worked on the Provo or Hobble Creek or even the SLC area and is a fantastic fly  tier including some of his own creations. I'm hoping that there will be a switch to him of the Angler's Inn clientele. I think that there is easily room for two shops in the area..and hope that both survive. Some of the dubbing, pheasant and hooks are best found at Sportsman's, but until they stock a wide variety of Whiting products to go along with the current Metz and Ewing lines, there will be little for them to offer me in the way of hackle.
