I
currently have a tool that can fit in any vise used to make tube flies. The
tool is made by Kennebec Fly & Tackle Company. This company also has a
video tape on how-to make and tie tube flies. You can also purchase any tubes
needed from this company.
I
havn't had much time experimenting on tying tube flies yet.
Has anyone ties tube flies? These sound
interesting. I think they would work good on my waters here in the great
lakes for steelhead and salmon that take larger patterns that need to get
down quickly. I just read Rick Kustich's article on them. How can I adapt my
Regal Vice to work on them? Any comments would be great.
