Here's a request... can anyone send me some white calftail that they know FOR CERTAIN came directly off the animal without any other processing save for preserving the hide? For test purposes, I cannot have a calftail that is obtained through a flyshop.

All I need is a few pinches worth of the white hairs stuck in an envelope. Please email me if you have that item and I will send the mailing info... I will trade you some interesting material I am collecting.

Thanks,

The white biots and calf tails I have used over the years have all been natural.
A good source for goose biots is a craft store. They have a wide selection of colors and I have found some real large ones.
Price is a lot better too.

Another strange question from that guy in Oregon...

Does anyone know how white Goose biots are processed? Is the white biot you buy at the flyshop totally natural or has it been bleached or otherwise color treated? This is the same question I am trying to ask Hareline Dubbing.

Anyone know the answer to that one? How about white calftail? Same question.

This will all make sense, later, I promise! Just a little early in the research process to jump to conclusions on my part.
