Had a great trip in Montana.  The weather cooperated almost perfectly.

There's just something about dry fly fishing a river with Glacier National Park as the background scenery. :o)  Caught lots of cutts on parachute flies (rope-dubbed with wingers and scb hackle).  Visited a lot of fly shops, gave a few rope-dub clinics, bought a new fly vest (Patagonia), and set up some trips for next year.

Had a ton of fun atv'n with my son and good friend (put 200 miles on the odo).  Saw a bull elk up close and personal, but he was gone before I could get my camera out.  Lots of bear poop on the trails, real fresh-looking- lended a little 'edge' to the experience.  Had the Swan Mountains as the backdrop one day and Glacier Park the next.

Can't say I'm enjoying being back here sitting in front of this computer, other than being back in touch with my vfb buds.
