DonO,
LOL...  Yeah, the EMS field is an ever growing one, with always new procedures and drugs and we have to keep up on everything... That's why we have to have so many "Continuing Education" credits...  I just found out that being a "Paramedic" it would only take me an additional 2 years of schooling and I can get my MD, but I'm not sure if I'm wanting to do that or not...  To tell you the truth, I didn't even know I got "1st Place", and I was wondering where that other fly came from and why...  LOL ...  It's a BEAUTIFUL large "Black Kaufmann" on what I believe is a #3 or #4 Steelhead hook...  My wife won't touch it, she hates bugs and won't go near those flys...  Also, come my Dad's "Surprise Birthday Party", (Nov 11th - 14th), some of my cousins from Louisiana are flying in, so I'm going to try and get that info for you then...

Rodney...

Rod,
You get more formal training in half a year than I've gotten since I got out of tech. college 32 years ago, which amounts to none.  Literally.

That was a great stonefly you did for the swap, even if it did beat me out.
What did your 1st place prize bug look like?
Have you had a chance to use those peccary hairs as quill bodies?

Did you ever hear from the family back in Metairie?
