There are several adhesives that cure with UV light. Essentially they all break one type of bond upon exposre to UV light and make a more light stable bond. Different adhesive systems may use slightly diffreent chemical systems to acheive this. Epoxies and cyanoacrylates are consdered thermoset type systems, being activeated by heat. And room temperature is often more than enough to make these systems activate.
