I think the book I am trying to think of is "Sunfishes" There ar vol 1 & 2. Just can't think of the author's name. I will have to check out my books for that.

Use your library! Check out the books and see if you like them.

Randall Kaufmann's dry fly and nymph books are my recommendation for beginners targeting trout.

I also love "The Fly Tier's Benchside Reference" by Ted Leeson, Jim Schollmeyer. This book is loaded with methods of tying flies.

Folks: I mentioned having bought the book "Bluegill....Fly Fishing and Flies" by Terry and Roxanne Wilson... Is this a good beginner book, or should I go get a "Flyfishing for Dummies" or some other book as a basic Fly Fishing/tying book???? or CD's, VHS Tapes???? Thanks in advance.... Chuck
