Unfortunately, one of passages in a fishing report caught my eye:
"I and 200 others fished the middle flats and the channels down to the
kiddie pool."
200 anglers! And I thought the Deschutes River was crowded.... whew!

Never been there, but it is illegal to fish in your wake or downstream
of
another person, as wading fishermen kick up bottom-dwellers and the
fish
have learned to exploit this smorgasboard of delights. The G&F
wardens will
ticket you (and more) if they catch you at it.
