Chartruese and white, white and chartruese, chartruese and chartruese...LOL

also, shades of blue over white.  shades of red & pink over white

I like super-hair for the body/shape of large baitfish patterns, with the
flash-materials layered out over the top and sides.  On med. to small
baitfish I use Awesome Hair (Line's End) almost exclusively, with maybe a
flash lateral line or a little holo on top.

Only with Awesome Hair do I stick with one material.  On others, it's a
mixture of body, flash, and crystal flash.

Polar Air is another popular inshore minnow material.
I've also used polar bear successfully.

The new crinkle Mirage I got in Denver is incredible- just have to see how
it works 'in the field' now.
