I saw some 10X tippet for sale.  I was amazed because when I have fished 8X I felt I barely had a whisper of a line and had to be so careful in setting the hook and playing the fish. So much so that I try not to use anythng under 6X except for adult midges when I will use 7X.  Have any of you used 9X or 10X.  Give me some help here on what rod you use and how you fish such tiny tippets.

Don't know about 10X (0.025mm) but traditional European match anglers (long pole fishing, think poles of up to 14 meters) will readily use 9X (0.05mm) traces.
