If you
love the Blues, this fly swap is for you. Not only will you get some
great flies, you'll also receive a CD full of great blues
tunes. RULES: 1.
Sign up deadline. - Nov. 15. Limit 20 tyers.
2. Tie a fly of your
choice, (any kind - any size). Toe tag fly with fly name, your name and
email addy. 3. Choose
your favorite Blues tune, naming the singer. Name your fly in
keeping with the Blues tune that you choose. BE CREATIVE WITH THE
NAME. An example: For BLUES I, that I meistered a couple years ago,
I tied my "Broom Fly", named appropriately "The Dusty Broom" after
Blues great Robert Johnson's, "I believe I'll Dust My Broom" This
should give you an idea. 4. Deadline of flies to me - January 5,
2007. Also, you need to send a CD that has your favorite blues tune
on it. SEE BELOW: 5. Include enough postage/$ to handle your
swap flies and the CD's
Send your CD, noting the name of your favorite blues
tune to me at my address below and pick a second and third most
favorite blues tune, for there could be duplicates and we don't want a
tune to appear more than once on the Master CD. This will be a "first come
- first served" basis. When I have all your CD's in hand, I'll mail them
to Allan Fish, who has agreed to transfer all the tunes onto a Master CD.
This is something that needs to be done ASAP, in order to give Allan
ample time to process the tunes, etc.
Allan
will dub your tune onto a Master CD, along with the other tunes, then make
copies for each of us. When he is finished, he will mail your original CD
and the new Master CD to me. I will mail them to you with your swap flies
at the end of the swap.
Best
Regards,
