Jeff,
I guess I told this story before. The first Pepper was
tied as a joke by Bob Root a pro tyer. It had no name
and was the only one that was tied. He gave it to me
on  the river and I made a comment that I can't say
here. Ask me about it when you see me. About six
months later, he finally talked me into fishing it.
That was Dec 26, 1995. Took 13 trout in 13 casts and
broke off on the 14 th fish. Bob tied up some more
after that and that is where it all began. When the
Chenille he used was all gone, I started tying them
with the Copper Chenille and added a gold bead. What I
tied for the swap is the original as tied by Bob.
