Don,
Dean is tying some up with barbell eyes for his next
salt water adventure. He is using mostly the Copper
tinsel Chenille that has black mixed in with it. I use
the Copper and the Copper with pearl mixed in. The
Original was Ginger with pearl that was specially made
up for Bob by Danville. A guide in PA ties them with
the barbells, tells me it is his "GO TO" fly for
Smallmouths.
I think it is the color of the pepper, not as much as
the fly itself. The Pepper is nothing more than a
Copper Woolly Bugger.
If you go to Global.com (I think that's it) there are
three different Chili Peppers there. One is a salt
water fly like a Crazy Charlie.
