Chili pepper variations do work for redfish.  Here's an example we've been 
using called Redfish Chili:  Body isn't copper tinsel chenille, but copper 
braid.  The bend in then hook is so that the fly "stands up" when fished in 
shallow water and is sitting on the bottom.

would think that one, and one like that with Chris Chapman's black/orange
tail, would be redfish slammers.

I wouldn't hesitate to toss any of these peppers at reds, though.
