My new Pinnacle PCTV PRO-card is working in windows, and sound (stereo)/TV/tuning/recording (including sound) is working in linux using bttv 0.7-100.
It seems like there are many different chips at these cards, but I have seen the following chips at my card: -Conexant Fusion 878A (this is probably working with bttv.o) -MSP3410G (using MSP3400.o for this one without parameters) -TDA 9886TS (using TDA9887.o for this) others that I don't recognize, that is, I can't find any module for it in bttv-package: -TDA 1308 2D030 -CSI 24W0BI -HCF 4052 I can't see any tuner-chip at the card, but I have only got the tuner to work with tuner=33: "MT2032 universal", although I haven't tried all. I actually got this tuner autodetected with some version of bttv, but in the newest version, it detects 14:"Temic PAL_BG (4006FH5)", which doesn't work at all. I bought the card in europe (Norway) and is using PAL. When I try listening to radio, I beleve I the first time after loading the drivers get 1/4 of a second of radio sound, but after that, I hear just noise. Changing the frequency only gives a click. ********** Logs: ********** I do: modprobe bttv radio=1 bttv_debug=1 card=52 tuner=33 Linux video capture interface: v1.00 bttv: driver version 0.7.100 loaded bttv: using 4 buffers with 2080k (8320k total) for capture bttv: Host bridge is Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-760 [IGD4-1P] System Controller bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). If these are neccesary, please give me a hint of how to make them work (tried them both with and without drivers loaded) Anyone that has this card working with the same chips? I am willing to test patches/changes to source code (with good hints) that might solve the problem, or provide more information if needed.
