I figured out the my tuner card ( old, got it from a friend) as Askey
CPH050X
i.e. card=24. I checked the lspci and label(CPH050) on the back side of
the card and
printed number on PCB "80-CP2000500-x" = CPH05X and confirmed that I am
using the
correct option for insmod. Before insmoding bttv did "insmod tuner type=3".
xawtv is starting with no video i.e. either blue screen or black and
white dots with
noise. with pixelview card every thing is perfect. I am using 2.4.20 (
tried with many
other kernels too) and bttv-0.7.x (100).
I am wondering whether it is a problem with buggy hardware or something else
if so how to solve this?
