A late reply, but AFAIK you've had no reply to your mail. I myself have
the PV951 model by 3DeMON for a couple of months now and it works
flawlessly. My setup: Slackware 7.0, Linux kernel
2.2.15 (applied the i2c-stack patch) and bttv-0.7.27. Compiled and
installed the drivers and put the following in modules.conf:
# bttv
alias char-major-81 bttv
post-install bttv /sbin/insmod "-k" "tda8425"
options i2c-core i2c_debug=0
options i2c-algo-bit bit_test=0
options tuner type=5 debug=0
options bttv card=0 pll=1 verbose=2
options tda8425 debug=0
The problem is AFAIK that the drivers can't detect the presence of the
TDA8425 chip which handles the sound, so it must be loaded
manually. I hope this helps...
bye,
Alexander
