Yes there is, for my WIN TV/Pci card this works great.
You have to install the lirc-Software and run lircd with a configuration
suitable for the hauppauge IR-Control which is part of the package I
think. Late versions of xawtv and kwintv both support IR-control via
LIRC. Since the configure-scripts of both programs include this support
only iff they detect a LIRC-system during compiletime it is important,
that you install LIRC first and then compile xawtv or kwintv.
