I'd like to announce the initial release of the v4l2-version
of my driver-package dedicated to saa7146-based hardware.
saa7146-v4l2-0.1
The driver consists of a v4l2-driver core that provides
easy access to the actual hardware plus so-called extensions,
which manage the hardware-dependend stuff.
The package includes extensions for:
* "MXB" (Multimedia eXtension Board), a tv-card by
Siemens-Nixdorf
* "dpc7146", a demonstration-board by Philips Semiconductors.
I have also written I2C-client drivers for the following
i2c-helper ics:
- tda9840: dual sound processor
- tea6420: audio-matrix switch
- tea6415c: video-matrix switch
The package includes some more client drivers (saa7111a,
saa7140, fi1216mk2), but they are not full-featured.
