A much improved 2nd beta release of the mjpeg tools package with lots of
new goodies is now available in tarball format.

mjpeg tools" is the descendant of Rainer Johanni's "lavtools" package.
It provides:
- Video capture using MJPEG capture hardware into .avi, quicktime
and movtar formats.
- Video playback and basic editting support for the same formats.
- Compression to MPEG audio and video from the same formats.
The list of improvements includes:
- Software only MJPEG playback, and "movtar" support
- Faster and better MPEG-1 encoding with support for creating VCD
compatible streams
- Support for variable bit-rate MPEG-1 and MPEG-2.
- Support for MPEG-2 encoding.
