I've tried everything to get my black and white quickcam to work with my PC. I can't find any documentation on options for the bw-qcam module, but I've gleaned from the mailing list that there is at least a 'parport' option. I've compiled paraport, paraport_pc, videodev, and bw-qcam. I run the following: insmod parport insmod parport_pc io=0x378 irq=7 insmod videodev insmod bw_qcam after which the last command I get a: Using /lib/modules/2.2.18/misc/bw-qcam.o /lib/modules/2.2.18/misc/bw-qcam.o: init_module: Device or resource busy Hint: this error can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters Is there any documentation for getting the b&w quickcam to work with linux? Can anybody offer some advice?
