Yeah, the Creative webcam is a little bit funky. I couldn't get mine
working without first enabling kaweth.o, Kawisaki Ethernet over USB. I
don't know what it has to do with it or if it was just one of those things,
but unfortunately you might (just might) end up with a weird kernel like me
and end up having to load and unload all your USB modules over trial and
error.
I believe the driver you need =might= be the ov511 driver.
