Hi Magnus, as I have recently observed similar things when replacing my BX board with one with VIA chipset, I'd suggest you try out what happens when you change the PCI clock latency timings from 32 to something much larger or to 0 (zero) as then the kernel will set timings for you. But I understood that you use the XFree86 v4l module for hardware scaling, and I never had any problems when using this module. Just a shot, though.
