Yes.  It still doesn't work.

Known good camcorder connected to the RCA jack on the card.

Using xawtv 3.42-

[tv tuned to channel 4, sound working]
  Change video source to composite1
[no sound, blue screen]
  Change video source to svideo
[no sound, blue screen]
  Change video source to composite3
[no sound, blue screen]
