I use Debian Potato 2.2r2 without any upgrades. The versions of 2.2r2
libraries are:
        libc6 2.1.3-13
        libglib 1.1.2.7-2
        xfree86-common 3.3.6-11
        xaw3dg 1.3-6.8
        xlib6g 3.3.6-11
        xpm4g 3.4k-5

I tried to compile with ./configure --disable-xaw3d and the result was the
same !
The crash seems to happen when after two or three channels up I press the
down button. After restart the sound is set to 0.
The xawtv-3.43 is solid rock stable and is compiled without any special
options, this problem occur only in xawtv-3.45 and xawtv-3.44.
I attach the .xawtv file may be this will help.
