I dind't make distclean I simply:
#rm -rf /tmp/ xawtv_3.45
#tar -zxvf xawtv_3.45.tar.gz
Then ./configure .... make ..... make install ....
Unfortunately the dpkg-buildpackage didn't work but this is not a real
problem.
Now I see that xawtv_3.46 is out so I will download an try it.
... nope the same thing, crashes when I change the channels.
Pehaps when I will upgrade my debian box this will be fixed.
Until then I wiil use xawtv-3.43.
