Hy, I don't now if this problem is posted. Sorry for this.
This is the story: I install the Red Hat 9 with 2.4.20-8 kernel version. I have also in an PCI slot a TV Tuner (KWorld) base on BT878 chip set and the tuner is Philips PAL. I download the last version of BT driver http://bytesex.org/bttv/bttv-0.9.11.tar.gz. I read the following on the site : "The RH9 kernel for example doesn't work without some tweaks in the drivers source code because they backported lot of stuff from 2.5.x and broke source level compatibility with vanilla 2.4.x kernels."
