When my new computer arrives, perhaps.  It is on an old large 8-inch audio tape reel.  I have an old machine to play it but nothing to connect it directly for copying in a more updated format.  A documentary-maker I've been working with transferred some other tapes in this format to cassettes for me.

Randolfe,

Do you have the facility to make the material into a wav or mp3 file?

That's a great suggestion.  I happen to have an audio-tape of a telephone conversation between Kerouac and Alan Ginsberg --a few short sections of which could be dropped in for special effects.  I bought it from a junkie named Hunkie back in the late 1960s.  Instead of giving him money, Ginsberg let him tape the conversation and told him he "could go out and sell it".

It really was rather disappointing so far as content goes but it is authentic.
