Yeah I would contribute to that. I know that there are some open source editing suites that are coming along too that might be useful to some people that should probably get talked about some more. I can't think of names off hand but I have links to them at home that I can post in the wiki or even here if someone wants me to. None of which (that I've seen) are quite ready for prime time but look very promising. I would love to support a great open source editing software project.
