I added "rel= enclosure" because it is supported by some now. As a podcaster 
the things I 
look for when preparing my feeds are what methods are supported by the big 
guys. If the 
group of the major players where support a spacific method of identifing 
thumbnails then 
I will add it to my feeds. I suspect that other podcasters and developers along 
with your 
lesser competition would start to support it too.. making it the defacto 
standard.
