I just hired an account exec who lives in Manhattan. I do think face-to-face networking makes a difference. And that makes the struggle even harder for those who aren't in LA or NY. We have our Head of Production in LA and she will go to events and meetings there, but we really needed to be in NYC. Once we started sending people out into the field to network we saw a dramatic increase in orders.
