Gary, I just had to delete a $%^&load of posts as I couldn't keep up
while in DC. Will you be accumulating and posting final list of the
distributors who have gone out of business? We do have some frustration
with back titles from PBS, in particular, that don't seem to be
available anymore but are being requested by faculty--there was one on
Rwanda, for instance. I inquired at NMM last year but they could not
turn it up, either.

Don't think LAVA actually distributed stuff itself...they simply
referred
(or if they did distribute the list was very small)

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of
issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic
control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in
libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve
as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel
of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video
producers and distributors.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
